Terms of Use

Last updated: October 22, 2026

These are the rules for using the software tools of American Patrol LLC ("American Patrol", "we", "us"): the American Patrol Reports app, the Command Center and the Sami tools, together "the Tools". They are written in plain English on purpose. By signing in to or using any of the Tools you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

1. What the Tools are

2. Who may use them

The Tools are private business tools. Only these people may use them:

Nobody else may use the Tools. Logins must not be shared, lent, sold or passed on. If you leave American Patrol, or your company stops being our client, your access ends and you must not try to use the Tools again. We may suspend or remove any login at any time, with or without notice, to keep the Tools and the people in them safe.

3. Your login

4. Fair use

When you use the Tools you agree that you will not:

Reports and photos created with the Tools belong to American Patrol LLC. Clients may read, download and keep the reports for their own properties for their own records.

5. Your data and privacy

Information you put into the Tools, or that the Tools collect while you use them (for example an officer's location while on duty, or when a report was opened), is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Tools you accept that policy too. Officer location is recorded only while the app is on duty for patrol and arrival reports, and is seen by American Patrol staff only.

6. Text messages (SMS program)

American Patrol LLC may send SMS/text messages to authorized recipients, including employees and, where applicable, clients, for operational purposes such as service notifications and internal alerts.

7. No warranty

The Tools are provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep them accurate and running, but we make no promises that they will be free of errors, interruptions or delays, that any report, map pin, time or alert is complete or correct, or that the Tools will meet your needs. Where the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. The Tools support our patrol service; they do not replace it, and they are not an emergency service - in an emergency call 911.

8. Limits of our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, American Patrol LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from using or being unable to use the Tools, including lost data, lost profits or decisions made on the basis of a report or alert. Nothing here limits any responsibility that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here changes the patrol services agreement between American Patrol and its clients - that agreement governs the patrol service itself.

9. Changes and ending

We may change the Tools, add or remove features, or update these terms at any time. The current terms are always on this page with the "Last updated" date; using the Tools after a change means you accept the new terms. We may end or suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms or when a working or client relationship ends.

10. Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States. Any dispute about the Tools will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Washington.
